On October 17th we're loading up the van and heading to Ramapo Mountain State Forest for a full day of peak foliage, fresh air and good people.This hike has a little bit of everything. We start with a climb through the woods up to Ramapo Lake, a 120 acre mountain lake surrounded by color. Then we head up to the ruins of Van Slyke Castle, an old stone mansion sitting on top of the ridge. On a clear day you can see the New York City skyline from up there. Trust us, the pictures are going to be crazy.This is not a solo hike. This is a curated group experience. We handle the ride, the route and the snacks.
