His albums as a leader have been featured in radio stations around the world and have received extensive reviews from the press.Joe Abba - drumsBorn in the Bronx and raised in Dutchess County, he began playing drums at age nine and has continued to this day. He holds a B.M. from The Crane School of Music and an M.A. from New York University and has been playing drums & percussion for over twenty years. His musical directions are vast: jazz, pop, rock, hip hop, big band, latin, experimental, funk and more; this diversity of style stands as the basis for his musical path. This international journey has taken him to cities and countries such as Mexico, Montreal, Toronto, Colombia, The Dominican Republic, Turkey, Italy, Sweden, and across the United States, where he has shared his and others' music with many cultures.As a sideman, Joe's resume is vast and varied. Highlights include performances and/or collaborations with artists such as The Bjorkestra, Militia Vox, Jessica Simpson, Tommy & CJ Ramone, Pacha Massive, Collider, Jerry Jemmott, Frank Lacy, Jon Gordon, Morgan James, Dave Douglas, Donny McCaslin, Benny Rietveld, & Kurt Rosenwinkel.Vasilios Koutsonanos is a Greek bass player, composer and educator who lives currently in New York.He studied composition and instrumentation in the Department of Music, at the University of Music andPerforming Arts, Graz, AT. He graduated with Honors and earned a scholarship for 2 years through KUG(Mentoring Project). He was taught by Wayne Darling, Morten Ramsboel, Mike Abene, Ed Neumeister, JimRotondi, Stjepko Gut, Dena DeRose and many more.He performed in over 10 countries and festivals like Jazzaldia in Sabastian and Bayerisches Jazzweekend.He existed on stage with prominent artists like like Jay Clayton, Dena DeRose, Mike Abene, Wayne Brasel,Jacob Garchik, Luis Bonilla, Maria Farantouri and many more.He completed his master's degree at the City College of New York (CCNY) and now serves as a privateinstructor in the Jazz Department of City College.
