This workshop will address these two specific issues of the shoulder girdle but also work on lack of mobility and poor alignment which can lead to pain. In the workshop focus will be on correction of alignment habits that can create the above mentioned conditions and through detailed instruction and appropriate asana students will develop tools to continue activities, work and recreation, that are important for healing as well as rebuilding healthy movement in the upper body. Carlyn Sikes is a Level 2 CIYT and a Certified Yoga Therapist (CYT). Having taught, practiced and studied Iyengar Yoga for 25+ years she has worked with many different abilities and levels of students as well as students with different backgrounds in Yoga.
