- **Event Description**: Arizona Pole Vault Academy’s 2-Day Pole Vault Camp is an immersive training experience designed for vaulters of all skill levels. Athletes will receive hands-on coaching from an accomplished staff that includes World Championship medalist Dean Starkey, sports performance expert Garrett Starkey, former Arizona State standout Nathan Hiett, and 2016 Olympic Trials fourth-place finisher Tray Oates.

Throughout the weekend, campers can expect a mix of pole vault training, video analysis, speed and plyometric work, gymnastics, strength training, recovery, injury prevention, sport psychology, nutrition, and athlete development. Our goal is to help each vaulter better understand their individual strengths and weaknesses while building a clear path toward continued improvement.

Camp runs from 9:00 AM–5:30 PM on Day One and 9:00 AM–4:00 PM on Day Two, with dinner and games available for all campers after the first day. Commuter registration is $399 and includes camp, lunch, and dinner. Overnight registration is $599 and includes camp, all meals, and accommodations at the Starkey Ranch.

Campers should come ready to train, learn, have fun, and meet other athletes who share their passion for pole vaulting. AZPVA provides an extensive pole inventory at no additional charge, so athletes do not need to bring their own poles. Space is limited and registration is first come, first served.
