Join us for eight weeks of Belly Dance at Queen Creek Parks and Recs (same building as the library), Az:
March 27th til May 8th - 7 weeks

6.30 pm - Beginners
7.30 pm - Improvers

The first class is aimed at students with little or no previous dance experience and will cover the basic moves, arm positions and shimmies.  You will be dancing from your first class !  This semester we have the opportunity to dance with veils.

The later class is for dancer with more than 20 weeks of belly dance under their belt.  In this class you forcus more on your individual development as a dancer.  This semester we will be learning a fun Shabbi choreography and learning about the social dance style of modern Egypt.

Each class is $70 for the semester, and you must pay through the Queen Creek Parks and Recs website.  Early booking is recommended, particularly for the Beginner class. 

Bellydance is a great way to make friends, get fit, have fun and feel fabulous. Its a mix of modern and traditional dance from the MENAHT regions (Middle East, North Africa, Hellenic, Turkish and beyond), adapted for local audiences.
Your teacher, Sara Shrapnell, is a belly dance teacher, performer, writer and mentor. As the "teacher's teacher", she trains others, world wide, to teach bellydance.
The Queen Creek venue is a large room, with clean floors and lots of space to dance.  The venue is staffed at all times, with restrooms, but no changing area, so come ready to dance.  The car park has plenty of room and some areas are lit.

(Please note: "Going" on FB does not keep you a space at this event. Only payment confirms attendence. - thank you for your understanding)
