En juin 2018 il a achevé un Master en pédagogie musicale au Conservatoire de Lugano.Lauréat de nombreux Prix nationaux et internationaux il a reçu en 2008 la Mention spéciale au Concours international de musique IBLA Grand Prize. Cette distinction lui a permis d’entreprendre une tournée qui a rencontré un très grand succès aux Etats-Unis avec notamment un concert au Carnegie Hall de New York. Adalberto Maria Riva a donné quelque 900 concerts en Italie en Espagne en Russie en Allemagne en Pologne à Malte en Hongrie et au Canada. Depuis 2002 il est régulièrement invité à tenir des concerts- conférences sur le thème de la littérature pianistique auprès de nombreuses institutions culturelles particulièrement en Italie et en Suisse romande où il vit. A la tête des associations culturelles Momenti Musicali et Harmonia Helvetica en Italie et en Suisse Adalberto Maria Riva a consacré beaucoup d’énergies à la redécouverte des compositeurs oubliés et a enregistré de nombreux CD. Ses collaborations avec Espace 2 pour Musique en mémoire Magnétique Disques en lice et Versus datent de plusieurs années.
