There are several places in an around Quebec City that you can visit if you are hankering for thrills and adventure. If you’d like to make day trips from Quebec City and are looking for a camping trip, consider Camping De La Joie. This is a wooded mountain area with over a hundred camping sites where you can take your own tents or even set up an RV. If you are interested in taking an RV to explore the province, you can stay at Camping in Quebec City which is an exclusive RV campsite. Sarbaya is a treetop adventure park which offers an obstacle course of high ropes. This adventure park is only 15 minutes from downtown Quebec City, and visitors can challenge themselves with different levels of obstacles. If you want to go hiking in Quebec City, Lafleche is the place. Lafleche in Abraska has many adventure activities on offer to visitors from zip lines over majestic landscapes to the biggest cave of the Canadian Shield. Other activities include night treks, hiking, snowshoeing, aerial course, and a special kids’ course. The park has several tours that you can sign up to explore the landscape. Montmorency Falls is only 15 minutes from downtown and offers beautiful vistas from a gondola ride, a suspension bridge, and a scenic staircase.

Come winter, you can ski at Stoneham Mountain Resort north of Quebec City, while snowboarders love Mont Sainte-Anne. You can head to Station Touristique Duchesnay for Nordic trails, as well as dog-sledding and snowshoeing. For something more daring, try ice-canyoning at Mont Sainte-Anne where you can scale a 135-foot-high frozen waterfall. In spring, you can go ziplining over gorges and river valleys. Canyon Sainte-Anne, Air Canyon, and Parc de la Chute-Montmorency are popular choices. You can also cycle the Corridor du Littoral to Chutes Montmorency. Don’t forget to pack a picnic and stop for lunch with a stunning view.
