La biennale VIVA! Art Action revient pour une 9e édition vibrante, indisciplinée et résolument vivante. Le festival prend place à l’Union Française (429 avenue Viger E, tout près du métro Berri-UQAM), avec quelques débordements aux alentours. 

La programmation s’ouvre sur une discussion publique menée par le collectif Phorie, en résidence d’écriture pour cette édition. Puis dès le lendemain, quatre jours d’actions et de performances quotidiennes présentées par quinze artistes locaux·ales et internationaux·ales, accompagnés de soupers collectifs servis par l’artiste en résidence Audrey / 卓涵 Jiang (Cuisine VIVA!) et son équipe, ainsi que de réflexions sensibles publiées en direct du terrain par les membres du collectif Phorie.

The biennial VIVA! Art Action returns for its 9th edition with a vibrant, unruly, and bold program. The festival takes place at Union Française (429 Avenue Viger E., near Berri-UQAM metro), with a few spillovers into the surrounding area.

The programming opens with a public discussion led by collectif Phorie, in residence as writers for this edition. Beginning the next day: four days of daily actions and performances presented by fifteen local and international artists, accompanied by communal meals served by artist-in-residence  Audrey / 卓涵 Jiang (VIVA! Kitchen) and her team, and sensitive reflections published from the field by the members of collectif Phorie.
