Open to all levels, from complete beginners to experienced photographers (phone users welcome!), Cristy will share how taking a camera outdoors can help you slow down, notice the small details, and connect more deeply with the natural world around you. Drawing on her extensive photographic background specialising in macro photography, her experience leading community photo walks and nature-based programs, she will talk about photography in nature and how to observe light, texture, seasonal changes as well as animal and insect behaviour.

This welcoming session offers practical ideas, visual inspiration, and encouragement to use photography as a way to get outside, explore local spaces, and reconnect with creativity and community. This session is about putting yourself first, doing something purely for pleasure and reconnecting with our natural environment.
