This Japanese Film Festival is very special as it is the Embassy of Japan’s response to the Mauritian public’s choice. The movie “Perfect Days” has been very much requested by the members of the audience in their feedback questionnaires of the previous film festival. 

"Perfect Days" is a contemplative film by Wim Wenders that explores the simple yet profound daily life in Tokyo, highlighting themes of routine, beauty, and contentment.

REGISTRATION INFO:

1. The seats will not be allocated – you can sit where you wish so. We recommend you come early to choose your seats. Two front rows will be kept for children, if necessary, for better visibility.
2. The registration begins as from Friday the 9th of January 2026 and will close as soon as we reach the limit of 200 seats. The earlier you register will give you more chances you have.
3. To register, you will need to have a Google Email (Gmail) address and register on the Google form below:

All your personal information provided will remain private and will only be used by the Embassy of Japan to inform you of future events.
5. You can only register once with your email. Each person must register for his/her seat – except for your child/children, under 18 years old - where you can register your child or children's name in the questionnaire.
6. You will receive an automatic email confirmation from Google when your registration is complete. Please check all your folders in your Gmail as it may go to - Update or Social tabs or Junk/Spam folder. If you wish to confirm your registration with us in the case that you did not receive an automatic email from Google, please email us at: culture-eoj@mx.mofa.go.jp. 
7. Please be present on Saturday 24th of January as from 9:45 for an easy and fast registration process at the reception desk of the Embassy of Japan that will be set up for this event at the entrance. You will need to present an ID Card such as NIC card, passport or student card.
8. After maximum capacity is reached, you may request to be placed on the waiting list by contacting us via messenger or on culture-eoj@mx.mofa.go.jp, with your email, phone number and full names of yourself and your child(ren).
