Truck Camper Adventure Rally
Roadrunner Wash BLM Area, Quartzsite, United States
An educational event with an emphasis on safety and responsible use of our public lands, and hosted by Truck Camper Adventure website, this is the largest and probably the best truck camper rally in America. In February 2025, we hosted 412 truck campers and expect even more campers and interest in 2025.
IMPORTANT: TICKETS ARE SOLD BY CAMPER NOT BY PERSON. WE ALSO ACCEPT WALK INS DURING THE EVENT!
This is a truck camper rally, meaning you must own a hard-side or pop-up truck camper to attend (truck toppers, camper shells, and chassis-mounted campers are okay too). We encourage anyone and everyone with a truck camper to attend, including those who own classic truck campers, like Avions and old Alaskans, and those who built their own DIY camper.
The rally is scheduled for February 11 to February 15, 2026 with the check-in scheduled for February 11 at noon. The rally consists of workshops and classes, contests, music, a sponsored raffle, vendors, and a truck camper “open house” to view campers owned by others attending the rally. Note that the first 200 check-ins will receive a goodie bag.
Like previous Truck Camper Adventure rallies, this will be a boondocking rally held at the Roadrunner Wash BLM Area 6 miles south of Quartzsite. This means attendees should top of their fresh water holding tanks and empty all waste tanks prior to the rally. No hookups and other amenities will be provided. Pack it in, pack it out. A few portable toilets, however, will be provided for the convienence of those attending classes far from their campers.
Quartzsite, Arizona is the perfect place to hold a truck camper rally. Known as the boondocking capital of the world, Quartzsite has almost everything you need to make your stay enjoyable, including RV repair and supply shops, solar and battery vendors, gas stations with diesel and propane, potable water, dump stations, grocery stores, and restaurants. Cell reception is generally good, but may be a bit slow at times due to the number of people in Quartzsite competing for the limited amount of bandwidth.

The weather in February should just about be perfect. Expect temperatures in upper 60s/low 70s during the day and in the 40s during the night. The elevation of the Roadrunner Wash is 1,065 feet. Prepare for strong winds and possibly rain. Bring appropriate clothes and sun screen for sunny days and cool nights. For additional information on Quartzsite, click here.
Truck Camper Adventure will formally recognize the top truck camper rigs at the rally. Those interested in being recognized must register their rig during check in and will need to park in the main gathering area. The top three rigs will be awarded a medal and a full feature article on Truck Camper Adventure.
The 2025 event had over 25 sponsors with some of the biggest names in the industry including Lance Campers, Four Wheel Campers, Elevation Off Grid, Hellwig Products, Torklift International, Rugged Mountain Campers, StableCamper, Battle Born Batteries, Bowen Customs, and more. If you are interested in sponsoring and/or attending the 2025 rally as a vendor, contact Mello Mike at bWVsbG9taWtlNjIgfCBnbWFpbCAhIGNvbQ==.
IMPORTANT: TICKETS ARE SOLD BY CAMPER NOT BY PERSON. The $75.00 Fee admits one truck camper to the event and includes one ticket for the raffle. Each ticket admits up to six family members. When registering, please include all adult names (for example John and Jane Doe) to allow an accurate check-in and count. Monies collected will be used to help defray the costs for equipment, insurance, the permit, renting a larger 20x60-foot canopy, renting toilets, scheduling live music, and for using Eventbrite. WALK-INS WILL BE ACCEPTED.
IMPORTANT: Getting a BLM Permit will not be required. TCA will submit a detailed attendee list to the BLM office for permitting.
NOTE: Cancellations and refunds will NOT be issued after February 1, 2026.
Directions to the BLM Roadrunner Wash: Take the I-10 to Quartzsite. Get off on the Highway 95 exit and head south on Highway 95. Travel approximately 6 miles and turn right (west) on 53rd Street N. (do not enter the BLM area using the Highway 95 entrance due to the presence of deep sand on the main road). The Roadrunner Wash BLM area will immediately be on your right and will be marked by a Roadrunner Wash BLM Area Kiosk and a Truck Camper Adventure feather flag. Follow the orange traffic cones to the west to get to the rally. The location where we will be holding the rally is 33.5911 lat -114.2342 long, the same location as previous rallies.
