Sydney Open runs on a system of rotating adjudicators. That means you’ll need to have a team of four people, one of whom will adjudicate each round. Every team must have at least one novice. A team of all novices (or more than one) is perfectly fine though!

This tournament does NOT use the standard Easter’s definition of novice status:

If you have attended less than 3 Easters as a debater and have not attended an Australs or Worlds as a debater, you are a novice. Any more than that, and you are a pro.
