Art exhibition opens at 1pm, goes till 6pm.

At 6pm we will have dinner and short presentations by artist Majed Badra and poets for Palestine at 6pm. Poetry presented by Mark Gillespie (poetry from friends in West Bank), poetry from queer Palestinians read by Paula Corvalan, feminist Palestinian poetry by Ali J.

Join our inspiring cultural intifada event. Entry: $5 suggested donation.  Affordable dinner and drinks available.

Prints from sale on the day. Co-hosted by Green Left and City of Sydney 4 Palestine.

This exhibition presents a powerful dialogue between contemporary Gazan art and decades of international solidarity.

Featuring recent works by Majed Badra, the show offers an intimate, urgent window into life in Gaza today — shaped by grief, resilience, and creative defiance.

Part of the Symphony of Resistance Book Week events taking place in the Resistance Centre between August 22-29.
