Based on Raymond Briggs’ beloved picture book and the Oscar-nominated animated film, The Snowman tells the enchanting story of a young boy who builds a snowman that magically comes to life on Christmas Eve. Together, they embark on a wondrous adventure—soaring through the night sky, meeting Father Christmas, and discovering the true spirit of friendship and wonder.

Featuring Howard Blake’s timeless score, including the hauntingly beautiful song “Walking in the Air,” this family favorite comes vividly to life in a live orchestral performance with film and narrator. 

This concert is made possible with support from Keybank, Tacoma Creates, Puyallup Kiwanis Foundation, Baker Foundation, and generous donors, and presented in partnership with Blue Mouse Theater, Greentrike, and Puyallup United Methodist Church.
