Creating Inclusive STEM Classrooms through Universal Design for Learning

The modern classroom is more diverse than ever before, and educators are more invested than ever in understanding how to support students with highly differing preferences and needs. This presentation will serve as an introduction to the three pillars of Universal Design for Learning that are the hallmarks of the new “ERA” of teaching. Content will cover a combination of theory and real-world connection, as well as briefly introduce suggestions for implementing UDL practices.
