Big news!!! Big, big news for Grunge DNA!!! GRUNGE DNA WILL BE RETURNING TO PUT-IN-BAY IN THE SUMMER OF 2026 AND WE COULD NOT BE MORE EXCITED TO BE BACK!!! HELL YA!!! Grunge DNA will be returning to the Boathouse Bar and Grill at Put-In-Bay on South Bass Island and we will be playing back-to-back nights on Friday, September 25th and Saturday, September 26th. The music starts at 9:00 PM and we will be playing one long set until about 11:30 PM. How awesome is that? If you are not familiar with this venue and Put-In-Bay, here are a couple of tips to help you make your plans. 1. The venue is on South Bass Island, and it is only accessible by boat. You can take a car to the island, but you must take the car over on a Ferry. That is what we will be doing. 2. You can get to the island by ferry in one of two ways. First, you can take the Jet Express to the island which docks out of Port Clinton. This is a passenger ferry only and you have to park your car at the dock while you travel to the island. Secondly, your other option is to take the Miller Ferry which docks out Port Clinton as well. This is a passenger ferry, but you also have the option to take your car over with the Miller Ferry. If you don't take your car over, you can park it at the dock and leave it there while you travel to the island. 3. If you want to make a full weekend of things, feel free to book a room on the island and hang out with the band all weekend long. You have a lot of options for lodging on the island. 4. If you don't want to come for the whole weekend, you can just come up either day. If you do that, you will want to take the Jet Express to the island. The Jet docks right in downtown PIB, and it runs all night long. The Boathouse is a three-minute walk from the Jet Express. 5. Be sure to check out the schedules for the Miller Ferry and the Jet Express on their websites to make sure that you are fully aware of the times for the ferry. 6. If you come to the island on the Miller Ferry, please note that the Miller Ferry does not dock very close to downtown PIB. It is walkable, but it is a long walk. The island is full of golf cart rentals and taxi services. Be sure to plan for that. So, with all of that being said, be sure to start making your plans to visit us at this show. It has been about four years since we last played on the island, and this is going to be a weekend that you are not going to want to miss.
