Depth Finder’s Scuba is excited to host a FREE Dive Day at South County Regional Park Pool—a perfect opportunity for both new and experienced divers to jump in the water, explore new gear, and connect with our local dive community. These events typically last around three hours and are packed with opportunities to try scuba for the first time, demo specialized equipment, and brush up on skills with guidance from professional instructors.
Not certified? No problem! Our Try Scuba sessions are designed just for you. Led by certified instructors, these introductory dives give you the chance to experience scuba in a safe, shallow, controlled environment. We provide all the gear you’ll need—mask, fins, regulator, tank, BCD, and exposure protection. Just bring your swimsuit, a towel, and your curiosity. It’s a no-pressure way to see if scuba diving is right for you!
Certified divers are encouraged to take advantage of this free event as well. We’ll have a variety of gear demos, including full face scuba masks and other specialty equipment, available for testing in the pool. Whether you’re interested in upgrading your setup or just want to try something new, this is your chance. Tanks and weights will be provided—just bring your own mask, fins, and exposure protection.
Our professional instructors will also be available throughout the event to help you practice skills, answer questions, and work on areas like buoyancy, trim, or any other techniques you want to improve. Whether you’ve been out of the water for a while or just want to get more comfortable with your gear, we’re here to support you.
With access to the 12.5-foot dive well at South County Pool and plenty of knowledgeable staff on hand, this event is a fun, relaxed way to engage with diving—no matter your experience level. Come get wet, meet fellow divers, and take the next step in your underwater adventure with Depth Finder’s Scuba!
