The course is required by law for anyone born on or after January 1, 1988, to operate a powerboat or PWC. The 8-hour course runs 8am to 5pm and is taught by the Coast Guard Auxiliary Flotilla 98 Charlotte Harbor. There will be a 60-question test following the course and those who complete it successfully will receive a lifetime card from Florida Fish and Wildlife.
