Singer/songwriter/entertainer, Matt Quinton – affectionately known as “Matty Q” – spent most of the beginning of his career fronting the Philly party band, SPEED, before going solo in 2004. Not long after that he was recruited to play the famed IRISH KEVIN’S on Duval Street, in Key West, Florida, where he moved to, shortly after, and became a staple of the island music scene, entertaining tourists from all over the world, for well over a decade, and eventually playing every iconic bar in Key West, including a six-year-long weekend residency at SLOPPY JOE’S.
Matt currently splits his time playing in the Philadelphia, PA/South Jersey/Dewey Beach, DE region, working his way down the eastern seaboard, to just about anywhere in Florida, and writing in Nashville, Tennessee.
Matt is currently touring Florida and will be back in Punta Gorda on Wednesday, November 12 at the Riviera Bar & Grill from 2-5.
