Baithak and Beyond invites you to Taljai Poetry Walk an early morning rendezvous with nature and poetry. With words walks and munches - this Sunday is all set to be an October morning full of conversations critiques and camaraderie.

Bring your own snacks mats and the vigour for an early morning walk for an unforgettable experience!

Failure to turn up after registering will end up in a baithak blacklisting.

Things to remember:

1. You're expected to be at the Taljai Tekdi gate by 06 am sharp! Don't be late.

2. Most of us will be seated on the ground but you can bring a mat for yourself if you wish.

3. Bringing snacks is not compulsory you can turn up to enjoy and partake!

4. The session after the walk will be held in the Taljai amphitheatre. It will be moderated for time in order to ensure a fair space for all.

Requirements: An ear and a heart.

Poetry (or any other written artwork) of all forms languages and quirks is welcome.

Recitation is NOT compulsory.

About Baithak:

Baithak is an informal gathering where we read share and discuss poetry. You don't have to be a poet or an artist or well-read in literature simply a love for words and verses is enough. What sets Baithak apart is conversation: we look to create dialogue and interaction between artists and their audience making sure that people do not simply 'perform' but also speak.
