About Jivdhan Fort Trek:
Jivdhan is one of the most popular forts for experienced trekkers. It is also grouped under the famous 5 trekking destinations in Maharashtra. Located in Junnar Taluka, the fort falls under difficult treks as there are misleading jungle trails and some hill patches that require a lot of mountaineering experience to cross. On some sections of the trek, you might also need to use ropes and requires bit of rock climbing. Ideal for folks who want to experience an extreme mountaineering experience. The highest point on the Jivadhan fort trek is 3754 feet above sea level and it is spread over an area of 65 acres.
Giant squirrels can be spotted on this trek.
From the top of Jivdhan Fort, enjoy outstanding views of the Vanarlingi Pinnacle and the forts of Naneghat, Harishchandragad, Nimgiri, Hadsar, Chavand and Ratangad.
The highlight of the Jivdhan Fort is the breathtaking view it offers of the Vanarlingi Pinnacle. The pinnacle looks small from far but starts appearing bigger as you get closer to the top of the fort.

ROUTE: Pune > Junnar > Aptale > Ghatghar
PICK UP POINTS: To be shared 1 day prior to trek on WhatsApp group (Usual pick points: Eon, Phoenix, Vishrantwadi, and Bhosari)
• First pick up at 4:00 AM (may change per location)
• Breakfast on the way
• Reach Ghatghar base village by 7:00 AM
• Start the Trek & explore Jivdhan Fort
• Reach Naneghat by 1:00 PM
• Lunch in Naneghat base village
• Start Return Journey to Pune
• Reach Pune by 08:00 PM

DO NOT throw Garbage & Plastic or litter around or near a water source or on a trek trail
Use Call sign “Hello” “Oyee” incase if you are not in visible distance to the group
Alert group against any falling object / rock - Recommended - call sign “Watch Out”
Avoid wandering alone or click Selfie’s near the edge of an exposed valley
Do not eat/pluck any fruits from the forest without trek leader’s consent as it could be poisonous
Do not provoke or harm any animals, birds or honeybees
Do not jump into a water body without trek leader’s permission
Smoking & Alcohol consumption is strictly not allowed in any event of RNT TREKKERS
