Birds, Chinkaras and the Star Trails - Bhigwan, February 2022, 26 February | Event in Pune | Birds, Chinkaras and the Star Trails - Bhigwan, February 2022
Around 100 kms away from Pune, exists a small town, also referred to as the “Bharatpur of Maharashtra”, as it hosts thousands of migratory birds during the winter. One of the major attractions of bhigwan is the arrival of the greater flamingos with the onset of the migratory season. However, the area is studded with many other different species of birds including Herons, Cormorants, Egrets, Kingfishers, ducks, geese and many more. Most of the bird sightings happen around two places, Diksal and Kumbhargaon. DCP is organizing a very exciting bird photography camp at Bhigwan this winter. The package comes with an exciting Star Trail photography Workshop as well. Photographing the night sky can be extremely thrilling and challenging too. However, if done following the correct technique, they can yield immensely beautiful results. We are sure that it would be a surreal experience. Finally the camp ends with a session of photographying the Chinkaras of Indapur. Overall an exciting weekend photography camp.
