Just after Earth Day, Chorale and Chamber Choir will show respect for the earth by singing selections dedicated to land and the environment. Chamber Choir will perform Color All Maps New, a multimovement work by contemporary Vietnamese-American composer Dylan Trần. The piece explores the changing landscape of the coast after damaging hurricanes and rising seas. Chorale will sing a variety of pieces old and new, including old favorites by Copland, Bernstein, and Distler as well as new works by Jake Runestad and Jocelyn Hagen.
