Discover the beauty of nature through printmaking in this fun, hands-on Layered Botanical Prints class! Using real flowers, leaves, and ferns, you’ll learn how to create gorgeous, textured prints by layering natural materials with stencils, masks, and mark-making tools.
We’ll work with Gelli plates, acrylic paint, and a variety of papers to explore color, texture, and pattern in creative ways. You’ll experiment with making bold background pages, create detailed negative and positive prints, and capture the delicate textures of botanicals through a series of artistic “pulls.” Whether you’re new to printmaking or looking to expand your creative skills, this class offers a relaxing, nature-inspired experience where you’ll leave with a beautiful collection of one-of-a-kind prints.
