Valentina, zaštitnika zaljubljenih, pčelara i epileptičara, Turistička zajednica Općine Marčana pripremila je nešto drugačiji sadržaj – interpretativnu šetnju Krnicom u subotu poslijepodne pod vodstvom storytellerice Aleksandre Bel Dajković.Šetnja započinje u 16.30 sati na placi ispred info punkta TZO Marčana, središnjem mjestu okupljanja mještana kroz povijest. Predviđeno trajanje je sat vremena, prijave nisu potrebne. Od starog kostanja laganim hodom rimskom cestom Flanaticom, uz priču o mjestu, prirodi i lokalnom načinu života ide se u posjet pčelaru. Nakon inspirativne priče i obilaska parka pčela šetnja se nastavlja putem sakralnih objekata: od crkve sv. Roka u povijesnom kontekstu i značaju svetca u lokalnoj tradiciji, prema crkvicama sv. Josipa i sv. Valentina. Kraj šetnje predviđen je taman u sumrak, uz jedinstvenu, romantičnu kulisu osvijetljene crkvice sv. Valentina, s mogućnošću razgleda unutrašnjosti upućivanjem molitve uz svijeću ili pak stavljanjem lokota u znak vječne ljubavi na mrežu postavljenu pored crkvice. Crkvica sv. Valentina jednoprostorna je građevina s preslicom bez zvona na pročelju, mramornim oltarom i palom sa svetačkim likovima (1729.) u unutrašnjosti. Datira iz 18. stoljeća, sagradila ju je obitelj Mandušić i u njoj su pokopani članovi obitelji i svećenik. Danas je u javno-privatnom vlasništvu. Odiše duhom prošlosti i pruža drugačiju, antiknu pozadinu za stvaranje prekrasnih foto memorija.  Interpretativni posjet Krnici u znaku Valentinova može se također lijepo zaokružiti prigodnom ponudom ugostiteljskih objekata. ❤️In the spirit of St. Valentine, the patron saint of lovers, beekeepers, and people with epilepsy, the Tourist Board Marčana has prepared something a little different – an interpretive walk through Krnica on Saturday afternoon, led by storyteller Aleksandra Bel Dajković.The walk begins at 4:30 PM at the square in front of the Tourist Board Marčana info point, a central gathering place for locals throughout history. The walk lasts approximately one hour and no prior registration is required. From the old chestnut tree, participants will set off at a gentle pace along the Roman road Flanatica, accompanied by stories about the place, nature, and the local way of life, heading toward a visit to a beekeeper. After an inspiring story and a tour of the bee park, the walk continues along a route of sacral landmarks: from the Church of St. Rocco, its historical context and the significance of the saint in local tradition, toward the chapels of St. Joseph and St. Valentine.The walk is scheduled to end right at dusk, against the unique and romantic backdrop of the illuminated Chapel of St. Valentine, with the possibility of viewing its interior, saying a prayer by candlelight, or placing a padlock as a symbol of eternal love on the mesh installed next to the chapel.The Chapel of St. Valentine is a single-nave structure with a bell gable without a bell on the façade, a marble altar, and an altarpiece with saintly figures (1729) in the interior. It dates back to the 18th century and was built by the Mandušić family; members of the family and a priest are buried there. Today, it is under mixed public-private ownership. It exudes the spirit of the past and offers a different, antique setting for creating beautiful photographic memories.An interpretive visit to Krnica in the spirit of Valentine’s Day can also be nicely rounded off with a special offer from local hospitality establishments. ❤️
