Dear friends!

On 28 August, we invite you to gather again near the ancient Roman villa of Dragonera in Peroj for another beautiful concert. This time we are inviting you to a special evening with an extraordinary musician from Chile, visiting Croatia for the very first time.

For the past four summers, Felipe Echavarria Alvarez has toured Europe with the acclaimed vocal ensemble Coral Rojo from Chile, captivating audiences with polyphonic singing, combining Latinoamerican rythms and old Eastern European melodies. 
This year he arrives as a solo artist, bringing an intimate concert of his own compositions—music inspired by the timeless poetry of Latin America, woven together with vibrant rhythms, soulful melodies, and masterful guitar playing.

A composer, arranger, multi-instrumentalist, and exceptional vocalist, he has shared the stage with artists such as Seun Kuti and many other renowned musicians. Yet it is through the unique artistry of Coral Rojo—and now through his solo work—that his voice truly shines.

His music invites us on a journey through the landscapes of the Andes, the colorful life of Latin American villages, and the profound wisdom of old poetry. It recalls a time when life moved a little slower and music filled everyday life with magic, when people gathered around fires where stories, food and music were shared late into the night.

And where better to experience such an evening than beside the ancient stones of Dragonera? Who knows—perhaps these songs, so old in spirit, will awaken memories even older than Rome... maybe even stir the dragons that once roamed the lands of Istria.

Bring a blanket, bring a friend, and come spend an unforgettable summer evening filled with music, stories, and a little bit of ancient magic.
