Laura Vincent - Author Talk

We invite you to a morning chatting with Laura Vincent about “Hoods Landing”, her debut work of fiction. Hoods Landing is a captivating small-town family drama that explores the complexities of dealing with cancer.
This novel has just been named in the 2026 Ockham New Zealand Book Awards longlist.
Vincent (Ngāti Māhanga, Ngāpuhi) hails from Waiuku and has had her writing featured both locally and internationally.
