Introduction to Hand Building

This class will take the beginner student through each step of slab and coiled based handbuilding with demos and ongoing help through the class. You will be familiarized with terms, tools and processes, supporting your creative vision. You will build projects from choosing your own idea, or being inspired by the pieces in the gallery, applying techniques you learn to create a piece that is uniquely yours. This is a fundamental easy class to enjoy, inspire, and explore clay work as an artist! Please note it takes several classes to complete a project.
