Kick off 2026 the Rocky Point way — with sunshine, community, and a coastal New Year’s Day tradition that’s as relaxed or adventurous as you want it to be.

10:00 a.m. – Warm Up at Bottoms Up
Espresso Martinis, Bloody Marys, Baileys, and other warm-up drinks before we head to the beach.

11:00–12:00 – Beach Tai Chi (Optional)
Ease into the day with Yang 8-Step Tai Chi, led by Karine Elaine.
No experience required. Perfect for swimmers, supporters, or anyone who wants to be part of the day without pressure to jump in the water.

Enjoy cookies, coffee, cocoa, and Baileys at Casa Murray afterward — stay to cheer on the swimmers or join in if the moment feels right.

12:30 p.m. – Sea Lion Swim (High Tide)
Group plunge at El Mirador / Chiapas Beach Access.

Location for all: Enter via Avenida Chiapas and look left — see map for exact location.

Donations of bedding, blankets, and towels for
Compassion Without Borders – Clínica La Esperanza are welcome.

After-Party
Head back to Bottoms Up for celebratory drink specials.
