- **Event Description**: What’s better than a weekend of sewing? WELL… How about a weekend of sewing in the home of the Great British Sewing Bee set in the wonderful Yorkshire village of Farsley.

Whether you are an absolute beginner wanting to create your first item of clothing, a more experienced sewer wanting to expand your skills and knowledge or just want to come and socially sew with a group of others (maximum 6) then this retreat is for you.

Our sewing retreat is suitable for all levels of experience. There is tuition on hand for beginners and intermediate sewists who have perhaps done some small sewing projects or made simple garments in the past.

Price £380 (Friday 1pm until Sunday 4pm).

Upon arrival at School of Sew on the Friday at 1.00pm you’ll be welcomed by The School of Sew Team in their beautiful sewing studio and offered refreshments.

You’ll be shown around the sewing studio, allowing you time to familiarise yourself with the equipment and we will give you some time to browse our inhouse fabric store Mill Creations where you can choose fabrics for the days ahead.
