As the evening unfolds, we’ll be invited into a Zikr (gentle rhythmic body prayer using breath and sound) — an ancient and universal way of calming the mind and returning to the heart. Participation is always optional; you’re welcome to join in aloud, softly, or simply receive the vibration and rest in the experience. These practices are rooted in the Sufi tradition from which Rumi wrote, yet they are offered in a way that is open, inclusive, and accessible to all. No prior experience, belief system, or religious background is needed — only a willingness to listen, feel, and be.
