We'll guide you through the entire process: from selecting the substrate and conditions, to nurturing your mushrooms through to harvest.We'll then break for lunch (45mins) - This is will be a jam packed spread of sandwiches, crisps, pastries, cakes, etc. (Please let us know when you book, if you have any specific dietary requirements)After lunch, we'll be deep diving into using Liquid Cultures. We'll cover the basics of mycelium, inoculating your own rice to make grain spawn and an introduction into the sterile side of mushroom growing!Each participant will make their own bucket of Oysters to take home, along with some grain spawn to nurture, plus detailed instructions for continued care and future harvests. (Don't forget lunch is included in the price - so we'll handle everything) No prior experience is needed, just bring your curiosity and wear clothes you don't mind getting a little messy!After the workshop, enjoy a short guided tour of our farm, where you'll get a behind-the-scenes look at our sustainable growing practices, seasonal produce, and other mushroom cultivation methods.
