Each semester, the Honors Program hosts the Disciple Scholar Lecture, a long-standing Honors tradition focused on the intersection of scholarship and faith at BYU. This semester, we are excited to welcome Justin Collings, the Academic Vice President for BYU. His address “A Refining Host for Brilliant Stars: On Becoming at BYU."
Justin Collings is the academic vice president at BYU. Dr. Justin Collings joined the BYU faculty in 2013, when he began teaching at the J. Reuben Clark Law School. He received continuing faculty status at the Law School and was promoted to the rank of professor of law in 2019. Prior to his service as AAVP for Faculty Development, he served from 2020 to 2022 as an Associate Dean at the Law School. From January to June 2019, he was a Fulbright Fellow at the European University Institute in Florence, Italy.
Everyone is invited to attend this event. We will start with dinner and will be followed by the lecture. Please dress in your business casual.
