We will meet at 1:00 PM at the newly completed boat launch on Kinsley Avenue and travel through this wildlife corridor to explore the river in the historic Valley District. Get to know the river that has shaped this city and all the history it holds. Pre-registration is required. We will get our boats and gear prepped, and launch boats by 1:30 PM for an out-and-back paddle into downtown Providence.It will be a 90-minute paddle on Saturday, and Sunday is the rain date in the case of heavy rain or inclement weather. On Sunday, the paddle will begin an hour later in accordance with tides. Participants have the option to bring their own boat or rent one of our kayaks or canoes.
