Rosa Parks House Project Community Picnic & Concert

On Saturday, June 2, to celebrate the last weekend of Ryan Mendoza's “The Rosa Parks House Project” exhibition, the WaterFire Arts Center is hosting a Community Picnic Party & Concert from 12:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.
With food provided by Amos House and special performances by Rose Weaver, Len Cabral and Valerie Tutson of the Rhode Island Black Storytellers, Grupo Ondas Capoeira, Kim Trusty, Braxton Mason, the Manton Ave Project, Mac Farmer, a day-long screening of The White House by Fabia Mendoza, and more.   The lunch, concert, and the exhibition are all free of charge.
