ST. JUDE HAS ARRIVED IN PROVIDENCE AT ST. PIUS V!!
DECEMBER 1,2 and 3 @ 7PM FOR THE
ADVENT PARISH MISSION OF HOPE!
Dear Friends!
Advent greetings in this Jubilee Year of Hope! We are delighted to invite you to St. Pius V Parish this week in Providence for a very special Advent Parish Mission with veneration of the largest relics of St. Jude outside of Rome December 1,2 and 3rd at 7:00PM each evening. December 3rd, the last night of the mission, will conclude with a Votive Mass to Sts. Simon and Jude.
We will welcome Dominican Friar and mission preacher, Fr. Mike Ford, OP from Chicago, IL where he currently serves as director of the Dominican Shrine of St. Jude. After Fr. Mike's preaching (and after the final night's mass) the relic will be available for personal veneration.
Also, confessions will be available each night starting at 6:30PM.
We are delighted here at St. Pius V that we can host this very special parish mission for the Jubilee Year of Hope in the Season of Hope (Advent) with the Apostle of Hope! As the theme chosen by Pope Francis for the Jubilee reminds us from St. Paul's Letter to the Romans:
"Hope does not disappoint!" (Rom 5:5)
