Otorgaremos el Premio Quetzal a Catarina Lorenzo, Directora Ejecutiva de AMOR una líder guatemalteca extraordinaria que marca la diferencia en nuestra comunidad. No se pierda a nuestra oradora principal, la reconocida autora guatemalteca-estadounidense Jennifer de Leon.

Además, cinco estudiantes destacados recibirán becas: nuestros futuros líderes y el orgullo de nuestra comunidad.

The Guatemalan Center of New England is proud to invite you to the Tenth Annual Quetzal Award Gala. This event celebrates leadership, cultural pride, and the collective progress of our community.

Join us this Friday, January 30, 2026, from 7:00 to 11:00 PM at the Marriott Hotel in Providence for an unforgettable night filled with energy, purpose, and celebration.

We will honor Catarina Lorenzo, Executive Director of @amornetwork as the recipient of the Quetzal Award — an extraordinary leader making a real difference in our community. Don’t miss our keynote speaker, the celebrated Guatemalan-American author, Jennifer De Leon ( @jdeleonwriter).

Additionally, five outstanding students will receive scholarships — our future leaders and pride of the community.

Come dressed to shine, ready to celebrate, and join us for a night of culture, unity, and joy.
