The work of artists including Diana Khoi Nguyen, Sasha Stiles and Jenny Holzer, among others, will inspire participants to experiment with poetry in various forms, including still and moving film, music, textile, light projection, and more. Together, we will foster a deeper understanding of the emotional and social impact of poetry through new poetic structures.Open to writers of all levels and genres. This is a 3-hour workshop. Please prepare for approximately 1 hour of work ahead of the session. Their first collection Regeneraciones: Regenerations received the Graduate Student Creative Writing Award from the Department of English at the University of Rhode Island.
