You won't find many musicians in these parts who are so devoted to bring alive traditional bluegrass music ... choosing material from a time gone by, and the crowd loves it!

Simon Brogie, banjo player, was born near the bottom of the Hosmer Mountain in Willimantic not long ago, and has been described by some attendees at the Thomas Point Beach Bluegrass Festival in Brunswick, ME, as Connecticut's best kept secret. He's been playing bluegrass music since a child, but has only recently been making the bluegrass scene.  He's about as authentic as you can get to the coveted Scruggs-style banjo playing. He and his buddy Keegan Day, guitar/ vocals, have a strong sense of how bluegrass music was played before the 1960s and it comes across as genuine and true to style of the likes of Flatt & Scruggs.

You won't be disappointed!

On fiddle is Cathy Day. She brings a lifetime of skill to the band and keeps everyone in line.

On acoustic bass is Mr. Tom Bowman a wonderful player and baritone singer who has been a staple in the New England Bluegrass Music scene for decades.
