- **Event Description**: Princess Spotlight Academy presents Hadestown: Teen Edition. This intriguing and beautiful folk opera delivers a deeply resonant and defiantly hopeful theatrical experience. Following two intertwining love stories – that of young dreamers Orpheus and Eurydice, and that of immortal King Hades and lady Persephone – Hadestown invites audiences on a hell-raising journey to the underworld and back. Inspired by traditions of classic American folk music and vintage New Orleans jazz, Mitchell’s beguiling sung-through musical pits industry against nature, doubt against faith, and fear against love.

Hadestown: Teen Edition is a full-length adaptation of Anaïs Mitchell’s Hadestown, modified for performance by teen actors for family audiences.

Performances will be Friday and Saturday, August 21 and 22 at 7:30 PM and Saturday and Sunday, August 22 and 23 at 2:30 PM. The Green Room will open 1 hour before each show with a selection of hot sandwiches, charcuterie, candy, snacks and non-alcoholic beverages available for purchase.

Tickets are $15 per person.

This event is included with the Princess Pass: 2026-2027 and Princess Pass Duo: 2026-2027. Please login with your qualifying ticket or pass code before selecting your seats.
