Na u bashkoni në promovimin e librit të ri të Vjosa Musliut. Vajzëri në luftë rrëfen historinë e vërtetë të një vajze të re që rritet gjatë luftës së Kosovës dhe periudhës së menjëhershme pas saj, pas çlirimit të Kosovës nga trupat e NATO-s në vitin 1999. Përmes përvojave të saj të trupëzuara, libri nxjerr në pah aktet dhe ngjarjet e prekshme e të përditshme të luftës, duke ofruar një pasqyrë të ashpër mbi ndikimin e luftës dhe politikën e nënshtrimit.

Vjosa Musliu është profesore e asociuar e Marrëdhënieve Ndërkombëtare në Universitetin e Lirë të Brukselit. Kërkimi i saj shkencor përqendrohet në ndërhyrjet ndërkombëtare dhe evropiane si dhe në ndërtimin e shtetit. Fusha e saj e fokusit është kryesisht Ballkani dhe hapësira post-sovjetike. Ajo është anëtare e Kolektivit Yugoslawomen+, një kolektiv prej gjashtë akademikesh nga hapësira post-jugosllave që punojnë në akademinë e “Veriut Global”. Ajo është autore e tre librave dhe dhjetëra artikujve shkencorë në fushën e marrëdhënieve ndërkombëtare.

Lura Limani është shkrimtare dhe hulumtuese e pavarur nga Kosova. Shkrimet e saj janë botuar në disa publikime evropiane dhe rajonale, dhe ajo është autore e Trans në Kosovë (2023), bashkautore e BOOM (2020) dhe bashkëredaktore e Home (2023). Ajo është bashkëthemeluese e Iniciativës së Historisë Gojore të Kosovës dhe e Fondacionit Lirindja, si dhe anëtare e Bordit Ekzekutiv të Fondacionit Lumbardhi. Aktualisht, Lura udhëheq një ekip rajonal në Fondacionet e Shoqërisë së Hapur – Ballkani Perëndimor dhe drejton zyrën kombëtare në Kosovë.
Lura Limani is a writer and independent researcher from Kosovo. Her essays and journalistic work have been published in multiple European and regional publications and she is the author of Trans në Kosovë [Being Trans in Kosovo] (2023), the co-author of BOOM (2020) and co-editor of Home (2023). She is the co-founder of the Kosovo Oral History Initiative and the Lirindja Foundation, and serves on the Executive Board of the Lumbardhi Foundation. Lura currently leads a regional team at the Open Society Foundations – Western Balkans and heads the national office in Kosovo.

Doruntina Vinca është shkrimtare, hulumtuese dhe përkthyese nga Prishtina, me bazë në Tiranë. Praktika e saj luhatet midis gjuhës, letërsisë feministe dhe tekstit si mjet për të eksploruar forma të reja të kolektivitetit dhe ndarjes së dijes. Ajo është bashkëthemeluese e grupit të leximit Radical Sense dhe redaktore e dy vëllimeve me tekste feministe të përkthyera dhe botuara në shqip.

Kjo ngjarje publike bashkëorganizohet nga Heritage Space, platformë e implementuar nga CHwB Kosova dhe e financuar nga Qeveria Suedeze, nga Fondacionet për Shoqëri të Hapur - Ballkani Perëndimor dhe Universiteti i Prishtinës.

Join us for the promotion of Vjosa Musliu’s latest book. Girlhood at War tells the true story of a young girl growing up during the Kosovo war and its immediate aftermath following Kosovo's liberation by NATO troops in 1999. Through her embodied experiences, the book exposes the tangible and everyday acts and events of the war, providing brutal insight into the impact of war and the politics of subjugation.

Vjosa Musliu is Associate Professor of International Relations at Free University of Brussels, Belgium. Her research focuses on international and European interventions and statebuilding. Her area of focus is primarily the Balkans and post-Soviet space. She is a member of the Yugoslawomen+ Collective, a collective of six academics from the post-Yugoslav space working in ‘Global North’ academia. She is the author of three books and dozens of journal articles in the  field of international relations.

Lura Limani is a writer and independent researcher from Kosovo. Doruntina Vinca is a writer, researcher, and translator from Prishtina, based in Tirana. Her practice moves between language, feminist literature, and the text as a tool for exploring new forms of collectivity and knowledge-sharing. She is the co-founder of the reading group Radical Sense and the editor of two volumes of feminist texts translated and published in Albanian.
