- **Event Description**: Hello Beekeepers of SWIN,

This month is our Holiday Party! We will be having a potluck of finger foods and desserts and holding our annual Black Jar Honey Contest. 

Please bring a bottle of your honey if you wish to participate in the contest. If you have a classic 16oz. plastic bottle (doesn't have to be full), that would be great. We will bring extras for you to pour your honey into if you don't have this type of bottle. Contest Rules will be shared shortly.

Our contest winner will receive an engraved hive tool. The more participants we have the better!  Two years ago we had 14 participants!  Let’s see if we can beat that this year!

Also, please bring a finger food to share - either a light hors d'oeurve or dessert would be best. If possible, bring a honey themed food, anything made using your honey.  Tableware and drinks will be provided.

There will be a beekeeping related discussion as well with a Q&A time.

We would also appreciate your feedback on the bee club. If you have speaker/topic suggestions for next year we would love to hear those ideas. If you have general comments/suggestions for the club, we welcome those as well! We want to make this club as beneficial as possible to all its members! If you cannot make it to the meeting, you can share those ideas in the comment section below or email them to: beekeepers.of.swin@gmail.com.

Everyone is welcome to our club meetings, as well as all levels of beekeepers.

This will be our last meeting for the year, we will resume our meetings in January '26.
