- **Event Description**: Join us for a lecture by visiting art historian Jenni Sorkin on women’s artistic labor. Held in conjunction with the exhibition, "Toshiko Takaezu: Dialogues in Clay."

In this lecture, titled "Forms and Forums: Women Ceramists, Skill, and the Classroom as Site,” Sorkin explores how twentieth-century women ceramists combined their creative practices with their community work. Introduced by Chief Curator Juliana Ochs Dweck.

Jenni Sorkin is department chair and professor in the History of Art & Architecture at the University of California, Santa Barbara.

Held in conjunction with the exhibition, "Toshiko Takaezu: Dialogues in Clay."
