We’re bringing back the magic of the 90s Scholastic Book Fair — with a cozy, community twist for kids and adults.
This event came together fast (because the love for books showed up fast 💛), and the goal is simple: share books, build community, and make sure everyone leaves with something to read.
📖 Kids’ Corner
Thanks to an incredibly generous donation from a regular of ours, every child who attends will leave with a book.
•Brand new book, wrapped and divided by age/grade so it’s a “mystery” what they’re going to get
•A free kids’ book swap for those who want to browse and trade
•Book donations you bring are going directly toward:
•kids’ giveaways
•the book swap
•and future book fairs (Sunday, June 28th)
📚 Adult Book Swap
This isn’t just for kids — adults too!
Bring a book, take a book. Whether you’re swapping, browsing, or discovering something new, the goal is for every adult to leave with a book as well, no pressure.
🛋️ Cozy Reading Corner
Curl up with a blanket and comfy seating, flip through a book, read a chapter, or just soak in the nostalgia. Stay awhile — that’s the whole point.
🖊️ Concession-Style Book Fair Fun
We’re keeping it classic and simple:
•Juice & snacks
•Bookmarks, stickers, notebooks
•Pencils, pens, erasers
•All the little book-fair extras we all remember
🛍️ Local Authors & Bookish Vendors
Meet local authors and browse book-themed goods, bookmarks, and reader favorites.
✨ Authors & vendors to be announced soon — we’re still finalizing the lineup!
🎁 Silent Auction
We’ll have a silent auction featuring curated book baskets, cozy reading bundles, spa night items, and more.
👉 All proceeds will go toward future community book fairs and free kids’ books, including a larger outdoor summer book fair already in the works.
