Something very emotional and visceral happened to me while listening to his rendition of "America" By Simon and Garfunkle. Not because I am a patriot, which I am. It was because I grew up in that village. The miles of growth I have been on, all started there. As I felt the cold square stones of the old trestle I used to climb to escape a reality I could not change, I sobbed uncontrollably.
