Where: Rotary Hall, Picton Arena

This is a free or pay-what-you-can event. There is no obligation to contribute, and paying $0 is always welcome. If you’re able and choose to give, your support helps sustain local food programs.

Food insecurity affects nearly 1 in 4 households in our community. This dinner is one way we come together—to share food, reduce stigma, and support one another.

Everyone is welcome. No judgement. No barriers. Just good food and community.

We are a collaboration of local food programs and community members, working together to end hunger in Prince Edward County.

Prince Edward County is known for its farms, wineries, and vibrant food culture. Yet behind the scenes, nearly 1 in 4 local households experiences food insecurity. Food insecurity affects:

• Seniors on fixed incomes
• Families with children
• People working low-wage or seasonal jobs
• Single-parent households
• Neighbours who may look “just fine” from the outside

And while food banks and meal programs help, they are not a long-term solution. Food insecurity is not about a lack of food—it’s about income, housing costs, and rising grocery prices. Together, we can make a difference.
