Fish, Beads & Useless Things: Free Art Day at the Mann
Saturday, November 15 | 10 AM – 3 PM | Free Admission
Come Shoot the Breeze with us at the Mann Art Gallery!
Inspired by artist Marcy Friesen’s exhibition Shoot the Breeze, we’re hosting a free, drop-in art day where everyone is welcome to get creative, connect, and have some fun.
🎨 What’s Happening:
Fishy Art: Create art inspired by Marcy’s iconic smoked fish, think scales, fins, and freshwater inspiration!
Useless Art: Make something intentionally non-functional; a beaded glove on the inside, a single fancy shoe, or a fur-covered teacup. Bring along a household object to transform into a piece of beautifully useless art (or use materials we have on hand).
Drop in anytime between 10 AM and 3 PM — no registration or experience needed.
Come with friends, family, or solo and spend a few hours making art just for the joy of it.
Free admission. Free materials. Infinite creativity.
We can’t wait to see what you dream up!
