The market is held in the heart of a 129-year-old military fort built before the Anglo-Boer War and houses the Pro Patria Military Museum. An ideal opportunity to wander the Fort and the market.

*4. The Military Museum*

The Indian Heritage Market and the open-air theatre are set in the heart of Fort Schanskop, which is home to the Pro Patria Museum, which houses exhibits of the Angolan Bush War. Many young Indian school leavers enlisted in the military and served in the  War.

(Use the Voortrekker Monument entrance to get to the site). Notify attendees you're going to the Military Museum.
