Come explore with author, medicinal plant researcher, nutritionist and herbalist Jean-Francois Sobiecki, as he takes you on an exciting journey into nature where you will learn all about medicinal plant use, wild edible food foraging, and principles of holistic medicine!

How to identify and use South Africa’s most powerful healing plants for healing common health complaints.

How to prepare plant medicines and ways to administer them: steaming, washing, tinctures, decoctions, smudging, smoking, ointments etc.

Food plants you can eat from the wild.

Principles of how plants heal.

Half day tour cost: R400 per adult, (Discount: R350 per person-couples or bring a friend). R100 for children (7-12 years) (who should be accompanied by a parent).
Venue: Faerie glen nature reserve, Pretoria.
Date & Time: Saturday 28th March.  8:00 -12:00.

Jean-Francois Sobiecki B.Sc.Hons. EthnoBot. (UJ)., Dipl Clin Nutr. (Aus) is a pioneering South African ethnobotanist medicinal plant researcher, and qualified nutritionist and herbalist healer.
His work and book (African Psychoactive Plants, Journeys in Phytoalchemy), that spans 20 years of fieldwork experience, has attracted the attention of ethnobotanical researchers world wide, and he has been invited to present at world class conferences such as ESPD50 with Dr Dennis Mckenna.
