- **Event Description**: Aterballetto South African TourThe Italian Cultural Institute of Pretoria is pleased to announce the tour of the National Choreographic Centre “Aterballetto” performing in South Africa for the first time (8–12 November 2025).The prestigious Italian dance company will present a performance with the evocative title Dreamers — a unique occasion where bodies and music meet gracefully in a shared rhythm.The triptych includes “Preludio” by Italian choreographer Diego Tortelli who has been collaborating with the company since 2018: a love letter to the body for five dancers built around some of the most intense poems and songs by Australian singer-songwriter Nick Cave whose unmistakable voice envelops the audience.At the heart of the evening is the duet “O” by German choreographer Philippe Kratz former principal dancer with Aterballetto and now one of the most sought-after creators on the international scene.
